2048 6x6 expands the familiar number-merging puzzle onto a larger board. Instead of playing on the traditional 4x4 grid, you receive 36 spaces for arranging tiles, building combinations, and pursuing impressive scores. The extra room makes the opening stage more forgiving, but managing the board becomes increasingly complicated as the numbers grow.

The objective is simple: combine matching tiles to create larger values. Reaching the 2048 tile is an important milestone, but the game does not have to end there. If enough space remains, you can continue merging numbers, unlock even higher tiles, and challenge your personal record.

How the Number-Merging Puzzle Works

Every move shifts all available tiles in one direction. When two tiles with the same value meet, they merge into a single tile worth their combined total. Two 2 tiles form a 4, two 4 tiles become an 8, and this pattern continues throughout the game.

A new low-value tile appears after each valid move. These additions gradually occupy the empty cells, so every swipe must support your long-term plan. If the grid becomes full and no matching tiles can be combined, the session ends.

The larger board gives you more time to develop a strategy and recover from minor errors. However, this freedom can be misleading. Careless moves may scatter small numbers across the grid, creating a disorganized board that becomes difficult to repair later.
